Every junior and senior is paired with a dedicated college and career advisor through our Student Success Center (SSC). Students receive individualized support with college applications, financial aid, career exploration, and post-secondary planning to help them achieve their goals.
As a Community School, we partner with the Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation to provide comprehensive resources and services for students and families. This partnership helps ensure students have the academic, social, and emotional support they need to thrive.
Cypress Hills Collegiate Prep is one of only 13 NYC Public Schools offering the prestigious IB Diploma Programme. All students take IB Language & Literature courses in 11th and 12th grade, building critical thinking, communication, and college-level skills. Additionally, all 9th and 10th grade students are enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course, giving them early access to rigorous, college-preparatory academics.
